Road Safety Week is back for 2025 – and this year’s theme is a powerful one: “Safe vehicles save lives!”
Running from 16–22 November 2025, the UK’s biggest annual road safety campaign from Brake, the road safety charity, is all about encouraging organisations, schools, communities, and drivers to focus on the safety of the vehicles we use every day.
As proud partners of Brake, Fleet Service GB is supporting this year’s theme and encouraging employers to take part in the free learning opportunities available – including Brake’s live online seminar on Wednesday 19 November at 10am.
Why Safe Vehicles Matter More Than Ever
Every time someone gets behind the wheel – whether for work or personal travel – the safety of their vehicle plays a huge part in preventing crashes, injuries, and deaths on our roads.
Brake is encouraging everyone to consider:
- What makes a vehicle “safe”
- The importance of regular checks and maintenance
- How tech and safety features can save lives – but only when switched on
- Choosing and leasing the safest vehicles possible
This message strongly aligns with Fleet Service GB’s mission to help organisations create safer, more efficient, and fully compliant fleets.

Fleet Service GB and Brake: Working Together for Safer Roads

- Promote safe driving practices at work
- Provide expert guidance to businesses on fleet compliance and safety
- Share educational resources to support employers and drivers
We believe that safe vehicles + trained drivers + strong policies = safer journeys for everyone.
Road Safety Week is the perfect time for employers to refresh their approach to fleet safety – and we’re here to help.
What Fleet Service GB Is Doing for Road Safety Week
As part of our partnership with Brake, Fleet Service GB is taking Road Safety Week into the community. We’re welcoming local schoolchildren to our Wiltshire office for a fun, hands-on road safety session. The children will learn about safe crossing, road signs, vehicle blind spots and stopping distances, with interactive activities and a chance to explore real vehicles. Each child will also receive a high-vis vest to help them stay safe.
By educating young people early, we’re helping build safer behaviours for life – and supporting Brake’s message that safe vehicles and informed road users save lives.
