We are writing to notify you of an important safety recall issued by Bridgestone that may affect vehicles within your fleet. You may have already received this recall notice. This recall applies to vehicles fitted with:
Bridgestone Duravis R660 Eco tyres (215/65R16C 109/107T)
Fitted to Ford Transit Custom and Tourneo Custom (Model Years 2024 and 2025).
Bridgestone has identified a potential safety issue where these tyres may be more susceptible to cuts and partial penetrations when used in rugged or wet environments. If undetected, this could lead to tread separation and, in rare cases, rapid air loss, which may affect vehicle handling.
Step 1 – Please check the tyres on your fleet.
Inspect all tyres on your vehicle, including the spare.
Confirm:
- Bridgestone Duravis R660 Eco
- Size: 215/65R16C 109/107T
Step 2 – Locate the DOT code
- The DOT code is a 4-digit number on the tyre sidewall
- It shows the week and year of manufacture
Example:
- 0325 = Week 03 of 2025
Step 3 – Check if your tyre is affected
Only tyres with the following DOT numbers are included in the recall:
4323, 4423, 4523, 4623, 4723, 4823, 4923

If your tyre does not match a number above, it is not part of this recall.
Step 4 – If your tyre is affected
Please contact us immediately to arrange a replacement, Kwik Fit have been instructed by Bridgestone to carry out these recalls FOC. Once we have the registration of the vehicle affected and the location of the vehicle we will arrange an appointment with Kwik Fit.
Important guidance from Bridgestone until tyres are replaced
- Drive with appropriate care
- Avoid demanding operating conditions where possible
- If you notice:
- Unusual tyre behaviour
- Warning signs
- Loss of pressure
Stop the vehicle safely and seek assistance immediately
Prioritisation
Tyres should be replaced based on age, starting with the oldest tyres first.
