As part of a total approach to driver safety, all drivers joining SRL have to participate in a driver induction day. This covers all aspects of driving for SRL and ensures that each driver is comprehensively trained in all areas of SRL vehicle requirements. Every day using the intuitive FSGB Driver App, drivers carry out comprehensive vehicle checks, essential to ensure that vehicles are fit for purpose and safe to use at all times.

Results measuring driver management compliance indicate on average a performance level of 98% and, on many occasions, 100%.

Working in partnership with Fleet Service GB, SRL delivers a continuous driver emphasis on wellbeing and driver safety – all drivers are continually assessed and performance measured to make sure that everything that needs to be done to support a positive driver culture is identified and actioned.
