Registered Driver Application Process
A three-stage driver communication programme (referred to as the 3-2-1 programme) will be used.
3-2-1 Communication
- Communication 3 is sent by the client to its drivers advising them that the programme is about to become active and setting out the operational requirements covering items such as the driver handbook, company policy and compliance and of equal importance, access to the guidance document library.
- Communication 2 is sent by FSGB to the driver, introduces drivers to the programme, introduces the Achieve Driver App and offers access to further information to support how the service is to be delivered.
- Communication 1 is sent by FSGB, welcoming drivers to the programme and importantly making sure that the driver has downloaded the Achieve Driver App
- Communications 3 and 2 are designed to ensure that the driver has a full understanding of the services being delivered.
The Achieve Driver App
- Use of the Achieve Driver App is a mandatory requirement and provides a comprehensive communication capability between all stakeholders, including the ability to complete the registration process. Full assistance regarding downloading and registration will be provided to drivers by the Service Support Team.
- Drivers will be able to complete an application either by using the Achieve Driver App or the Achieve Driver Hub.
- As a part of the Continuous Learning (training) aspect of the programme, drivers can select from a prepared menu, a specific eLearning Programme. Selected eLearners are then presented automatically by the programme, to the driver, at an agreed time. Drivers can positively influence their own Live Driver Score by participating fully with each eLearner.
- All individual Driver Applications will be analysed by the system. An individual Live Driver Score will be produced, in addition to a risk assessment on individual driving capability. All of this information will be communicated to the driver (via the Achieve Driver App).
