If you have a rental vehicle, it’s important to record the condition of the vehicle before and after use, this can assist in evidencing vehicle condition in the event of any dispute. At Fleet Service GB, we recommend the following guidance:
Complete a Rental Start Check Sheet on delivery, this will record with photographs the condition of the bodywork, tyres, vehicle interior and fuel level the vehicle was received in.
Prior to collection, repeat the process by using the Rental End Check Sheet. Take as many photos as you can, to document the condition and fuel level just prior to off-hire.
