National Price Promise
No management charges.
The National Price Promise Explained
The National Price Promise formula allows the service support team to create a comprehensive range of national prices covering Approximately 75% of predictable maintenance requirements on cars and light commercials.
Note: – By using the National Price Promise, the service support team generates an operating margin in a way that does not allow the supplier to increase their charges to cover these amounts.
The National Price Promise Formula
The Service Support Team produces each National Price Promise price which includes labour, parts and gross margin
- Prices are fixed and firm for a minimum of one year
- The prices are the same throughout mainland UK
- The applied gross margin (which averages 20% of each National Price Promise price) is sufficient to provide all aspects of the service necessary to deliver a 24/7 maintenance management programme (see inclusive aspects below)
- The Service Support Team produces the invoice to the client and the invoice to the supplier (using an Approved Self-Billing Scheme)
- Fully assessed costed programme – annually reviewed and audited.
Important note – National Price Promise prices ‘include’ the following added value benefits:
Online booking using the Driver App
One number available 24/7 for the driver to access the service support team
Collection and delivery for all routine SMR (where available)
Full compliance with manufacturers service and repair schedules
Fitting of matching quality parts (including genuine components)
Comprehensive bespoke reporting
Summary
All of the above listed National Price Promise benefits are included in each fixed price. There are no additional costs. By being in total control of every maintenance transaction and using the NPP formula, FSGB is able to generate a fair operating margin and, at the same time, impose a process on the supplier that does not allow them to increase their charges, add extra cost or in any way manipulate the contents or total cost of the invoice.
