Breakdown and Recovery

Drivers will be instructed to call the service support team for all breakdown and recovery requirements (unless otherwise stated in the parameters). Alternatively, the driver may contact the service support team by using the facility built into the Driver App which contains a GPS location finder.

Directing all breakdown requirements through the service support team, will enable the team to record, against each vehicle, a comprehensive history of all breakdown and recovery incidents

  • Where the vehicle is covered under an inclusive manufacturer provided policy, then the service support team will manage the process from start to finish recording and storing all relevant breakdown and recovery event information.
  • Where the vehicle is not covered by a manufactures scheme then the service support team will utilise its own breakdown and recovery service on a pay-as-you-use basis. For example, there may be circumstances when manufacturers cannot respond within a reasonable timeframe, in that instance (subject to parameter instructions) the service support team can activate the pay-as-you-go programme.
