Nominated/Occasional Drivers
In some circumstances, companies allow employees to nominate a non-employee, such as a spouse or partner, to drive a company vehicle. The company’s Duty of Care extends to these individuals and as such must be managed in the same way that employees are managed.
Licence Checks & Verified Driver Compliance with
the Achieve Hub
This includes the nominated or occasional driver completing an Authority to Drive application which will then allow the programme to carry out a driving licence check. Completion of the application will ensure that the nominated/occasional driver is familiar with and agrees to policies and conditions stipulated by the company.
All information is stored and managed within the Achieve Software Hub which provides a comprehensive audit of anyone authorised to drive either a company provided vehicles or their own vehicle on company business.
