Check your tyres

It is important to check the condition of your tyres all year round, but it becomes more pertinent during adverse weather in the winter months, due to excess water, ice or snow on the roads.

Current UK law states that tyre tread on cars must be at a minimum of 1.6mm across the central three quarters of the tread, around its entire circumference. Using a 20p coin is an easy way to check your tyre tread depth. Check out this video, courtesy of Tyre Safe.
