Senior New Business Development Sales Manager – ACHIEVE Driver Continuous Learning

Job role description:

A superb opportunity for a hardworking, self-motivated, salesperson to join an ever-expanding business. Your role will be to grow the sales of an enhanced driver safety product, developed as part of an exciting range of driver and vehicle management services. 

 

Fleet Service GB, an established, award-winning Fleet Management Company, recently launched its fully integrated, market leading ‘Achieve Driver Continuous Learning (ADCL)’ programme and is looking for the right person to take sales up a gear in 2024.  

 

Fleet Service GB has identified considerable opportunities for the growth and expansion of ADCL and as such, is looking to recruit a Senior New Business Development Sales Manager to head up a separate division. The primary objective of this division is to develop and secure the success of ADCL.

Who are you?

You will-

  • be self motivated with the ability to work on your own initiative and as part of a team
  • be able to demonstrate an ability to focus on achieving agreed goals and targets, reporting directly to board level.
  • have exceptional interpersonal skills and show a track record of bringing in new business demonstrating the ability to establish and building relationships
  • be a resourceful team player with the ability to pivot in a hands-on organisation.
  • be able to multi-task and manage multiple projects and clients at once.
  • have at least 3 years experience in a B2B sales role – ideally in Fleet Management or with a SAAS product.
  • have experience of working with a CMS.
  • demonstrate excellent communication skills to include have robust presentation skills with an eye for detail.
  • have an ability to manage data and market trends to develop sales strategies.
  • have at least 2 years new business development experience.

What you'll be selling

The ADCL programme is aimed at fleets where all types of vehicles are driven as part of the business requirement.   This will include light commercials,  company cars and grey fleet. The objective is to Engage, Encourage, Support and Improve (EESI) all drivers as part of a fully integrated approach, where positive results are guaranteed. 

 

ADCL uses comprehensive in-house developed software, supported by an intuitive driver app and is better than anything else on the market. Initial customer feedback is excellent.

 

Continuous analysis of data ensures that drivers receive appropriate and timely interventions that include in-vehicle training, online training and/or classroom training. 

 

The programme focuses on driver safety and wellbeing and demonstrates by its processes and inclusive approach, an environment of continuous driver improvement. 

 

Fleet Service GB has already commenced an ADCL marketing campaign which includes events, exhibitions and trade shows throughout 2024.  Supporting these marketing activities is an inclusive range of promotional material which sets out clearly and unambiguously the significant benefits of the programme.

 

An important part of the marketing programme raises the question ‘What’s in it for me’ and looks at identified company benefits available in areas such as Finance, HR, Health & Safety, Fleet and Procurement.  All of this developed material has utilised the knowledge skill and commitment of the FSGB management team and will enable the success candidate to ‘hit the ground running’. 

 

Fleet Service GB is also keen to grow its use of 3rd party, strategic partnerships as a route to market. These could include Insurance Companies and Brokers, Vehicle Manufacturers and Leasing Companies and other transport and safety organisations like DfBB, FORS, Brake, National Highways, etc.

 

This is an office - based role. Naturally, there will be a need to travel for sales meetings
