Wellbeing Tip – Sleep Tight!

As we draw towards the end of Summer a reminder of how to sleep well seems appropriate. You hopefully recall, if you have completed a wellbeing workshop with us, that to be fit for each day you must be fully rested, having slept well. As previously discussed it is important to give thought to, and plan your sleep to ensure that you are getting sufficient, quality sleep to refresh and recharge.

A couple of reminders to help below:

Prepare for 90 minutes by reducing the temperature to around 18c and avoid to much brain activity and white bright light. Once in bed use the breathing technique of 5 in and 5 out to help to relax you and clear down the mind.

Finally, try reading the book by Nick Littlehays, Sleep, to give you more useful tips about sleeping well and improving your wellbeing.
