Championing Women in Fleet Management
The fleet industry is full of fast-paced change – but one thing still needs attention: women are underrepresented in leadership roles. That’s where the new Empowering Women in Fleet initiative comes in. It’s all about giving women in fleet a platform, a voice, and a supportive community to grow their careers and lead with confidence.
What Is Empowering Women in Fleet?
Launched by Fleet News with support from Volvo Car UK and Novuna Vehicle Solutions, this new network is designed to highlight the achievements of women in the fleet industry and give them space to connect, learn and grow.
What to Expect
- Quarterly meet-ups, starting 27 June in Milton Keynes
- Talks from inspiring women, both within fleet and outside the sector
- Round-table discussions focused on real challenges, solutions and career development
This is more than just a talking shop – it’s about driving real change and giving women the confidence, skills and network to move forward.
Denise Hawkins: A Board Member and Valued FSGB Customer
Another powerful voice leading this initiative is Denise Hawkins, fleet manager at Stannah Management Services – and a long-time Fleet Service GB customer. Denise is a board member for Empowering Women in Fleet and plays a big role in shaping its direction.
“I’m really excited about the potential of this initiative. We aim to create a safe, inclusive space where women in fleet can develop, participate, and showcase the exceptional work they do. By identifying and addressing the barriers to equality, we hope to drive lasting change.”
At FSGB, we’re incredibly proud to support Denise in her journey – both as a customer and as a changemaker in the industry.
