Achieve Garage Partnership workshop

Fleet Service GB hosted the second Achieve Garage Partnership workshop.

Suppliers from the approved network of garages met to discuss the issues and the successes arising within the industry and the different ways they were approaching various challenges.

One key area of focus and discussion was the EV sector. The conversation centred around the impact on embracing or avoiding the service and maintenance of electric vehicles – how can independent garages successfully incorporate this area into their current business model?

Matt Cleevely from Cleevely Motors/Cleevely EV gave an invaluable talk on how they have adopted all things EV and the positive impact it has had on the business. First hand experience and learning about the impressive journey they have undertaken, gave the attendees an insight into what can be achieved, and ways to achieve it.

The difficulties faced within the industry with current supply chain issues are on-going, and the effect it is having on the independent sector is widespread. It was interesting to find out how this was being combatted, and how our network can help each other and support where possible, offering solutions or alternatives to keep business operational.

Creating partnerships is a fundamental way of how we work at Fleet Service GB. Building relationships with suppliers gives us an understanding of any challenges they may face, so we can develop and improve our operations, which is ultimately beneficial for our clients. Communication across all areas of our industry is key to exceeding expectations and delivering the excellent customer service we insist on.

The Achieve Garage Partnership is our nationwide network of independent garages providing a value for money range of vehicle supporting services. The network covers UK mainland, allowing the delivery of Achieve services wherever vehicles are located. We have long recognised working in partnership with specialist independent garages, can deliver a high-value service without compromising quality or safety. By working together, garages become our eyes and ears on the vehicles, helping to monitor and record their condition.
